Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to some of my most frequently asked questions

Covid-19 information

DISCLAIMER!

An inherent risk to Covid-19 exists in all in-person consults and/or sessions.  Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to illness and death according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).  By scheduling an in-person consult and/or session, the client assumes all risks related to the exposure of Covid-19.

What does a session include?

Each session includes:

  • decluttering of the space

  • organization of the items in the space

  • coordination of donation items and trash haul off

How much can I expect to get done in a 3 hour session?

That depends on you! How quickly you make decisions about what to keep and what to get rid of will determine how much we are able to accomplish.  If you are decluttering very sentimental items, it could take more time.  If you are in the position of  "it all has to go", this process will go very quickly.

Do you do all the work or do we work together?

We work together! You know what is valuable to you, so you need to make the decisions on what to keep and what to get rid of.  Together, we will formulate an organizing system that meets YOUR needs.

What kind of organizing supplies will I need?

We will discuss at your consultation what supplies you will need.

Are supplies included in the package price?

Supplies are NOT included in the session price.  You will be responsible for the cost of all supplies.  We will discuss at your consultation how the supplies will be obtained.

Is there a consultation fee?

I offer FREE consultations.  In the consultation you can expect a formulated plan to get your space organized.  This plan will include getting a list together of supplies we might need, what supplies you already have that we could use, a budget for the  supplies you will need and how those supplies will be acquired.  Then the most exciting part, getting your session scheduled!    Consultations generally last 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Is there a contract?

Yes.  The contract is simply utilized to insure that we are on the same page as far as expectations on both our parts.   The contract will  also be discussed at your consultation.
